Privacy Policy
This policy describes how RiseXCart, a product of Regal Rise Media LLC, handles information when you use the site. RiseXCart does not offer user accounts and does not keep a product database or a customer database.
What you provide
When you search, the words you type, including product type, preferences, and budget, are used to understand the request and look for products for that visit. The answers you select are used the same way. They are not stored as a profile.
Analytics
If analytics is enabled, the site may record events such as a search starting, a question being shown, a preference being selected, recommendations loading, and a buy button being clicked. Those events can include the search text, product category, retailer, product name, and product id. They do not include affiliate configuration or API keys.
Campaign parameters
If you arrive with campaign parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, or utm_content, RiseXCart keeps the allowed values in session storage for that browser session so later pages on the site can preserve them.
Storage
The site uses session storage in your browser for that campaign information and to avoid sending the same analytics event twice during the visit. It does not require an account cookie. If a measurement service is configured, that service may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Third-party services
Product discovery asks a search provider for current shopping results. Those requests are made from the server for the query you entered. Buy links may send you to a retailer such as Sephora or Nike. Those retailers, and any analytics provider, have their own privacy practices. A purchase, account, or payment happens with the retailer, not with RiseXCart.
Affiliate links
Some buy links are affiliate links. The redirect includes a campaign id and a click id created for that click. The destination is limited to an allowed retailer product page. RiseXCart does not put the raw affiliate address in the page you browse.
Security
API keys and affiliate settings stay on the server. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers to RiseXCart; the site does not ask for them.
Retention
Session storage lasts for the browser session. Operational logs may include a search query so the service can run and be troubleshot. Those logs are not a customer database and are not a saved product catalog.
Your choices
You can stop using the site, clear session storage in your browser, and use your browser controls for cookies set by a measurement service. This policy does not assign a particular state or country law.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
